6-Carboxyfluorescein (6-FAM) is a bright green dye with excitation/emission maxima of 492/517 nm, supplied as single 6-isomer. It offers a high quantum yield, is fully compatible with Fluorescein (FITC) filter sets, and closely matches the 488 nm spectral line of the argon-ion laser. Common applications include labeling peptides, proteins, oligonucleotides, and other biomolecules for fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry and in vitro assays.
This azide derivative is intended for copper-catalyzed click chemistry reaction and is provided as single 6-isomer.
