NHS ester, reacts with 1° amines to form a stable amide linkage
The amine-reactive anthraquinone derivative is used as an electroactive labeling reagent for covalent attachment to proteins and alkylamino modified nucleic acids. Anthraquinone has excellent and validated redox properties, making it a particularly suitable label for electrochemical applications.
